The General Certificate of Education (GCSE) is an essential step in the education ladder. It is the strongest influence on the choice of subjects to be studied at A Level and in higher education. British Universities will normally require that students achieve 5 or more GCSE passes, which must include English and Mathematics.
The GCSE Intensive course is designed for those students who, for whatever reason, have bot achieved thier full potential at their previous school or college and have the commitment and dedication to repeat the GCSE course in one year.
Regent College prides itself on the care and attention that GCSE students receive to ensure that they do not just pass examinations but develop their study and revision skills that will prove invaluable as they progress through the education system.
GCSE tuition is conducted in small classes so that the students can enjoy individual care and feedback and on top of this Regent College provides supervised study periods and weekly mock examinations to ensure that the progress of each student is carefully monitored. Parents receive an unparalleled level of feedback from the College in the form of monthly student progress reports and Parents’ Evenings each term.
Most GCSE courses require students to complete and submit coursework. At Regent College the teachers are very aware of the demands placed upon students in this respect and offer expert guidance so that students can complete all assignments to the required standard.
