Regent College – Excellent GCSE Performance in the recently published DCSF Attainment and Achievement Tables, exceeded the Local and National Average.

Regent College is a successful school that achieves its aims. It provides a good quality education for its pupils of compulsory school age up to GCSE and its sixth form students. It has a well-balanced curriculum, while good teaching enables students to make very good progress. It is a friendly and purposeful community where students are happy and work well to achieve their full potential.

• DCSF Attainment and Achievement Tables on GCSE 5+ A* - C Results in 2007 Regent College achieved 80% above the Harrow Borough average of 68% and England National average of 61%;

• DCSF Attainment and Achievement Table on Post 16 Average Score per student is 633.4 for 2007 and this has increased by 20% from previous year;

• As a recently established school, Regent College has improved its performance year on year and hoping to achieve another 25% increase in score in Post 16 Tables in 2008 and a incremental 90% status in the GCSE tables, which would be very similar to top independent schools in the local area.

The school’s main mission statement proposes that “the end of education is character.”
