Neville Grenyer - BA, MA, PGCE
Chairman of Board of Management
Neville Grenyer is a recently retired Her Majesty Inspector (HMI) of School and has over 22 years experience of inspecting state and independent schools. Prior to being a School Inspector, he has spent time at Haberdashers’ Aske’s School and Winchester School in various senior roles. Mr Grenyer is the Chairman of the Advisory board of Regent Group.

James Wardrobe - BA, MA, PGCE
Board Member
James Wardrobe is currently an Independent School Inspector. Prior to this appointment, he has been the head master for 24 years at Landsdown Independent Sixth Form College and Hellenic College London. James Wardrobe is a senior member of the advisory board of Regent Group.

Director
Selva Pankaj has many years of experience in the Financial and Independent Education Sector. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. Selva Pankaj is a senior member of the Advisory Board, and represents the Selvanayagam Family’s interest.

Mrs. Tharshiny Pankaj - BSc
Principal
Tharshiny Pankaj has been one of the key figures at Regent College since it was founded. One of Mrs. Pankaj’s main roles is to interview new students and advise them on the course that is best suited for their requirements and abilities. She is responsible for the day-to- day organisation of the College. In addition, Mrs. Pankaj acts as an Examination Officer.

Ms. Juliana Storey - BSc, Cert Ed
Vice Principal
Juliana Storey taught at St Dominic’s Sixth Form College for many years, and is a graduate of Bachelors Degree within the field of Business, Juliana Storey teaches Business Studies and Economics to Sixth Form Students. She is a member of the Senior Management Team of Regent College.

A key member of the Administrative Management Staff since 2005, Alka Tailor, as School Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day activities of Regent College.

Mrs. Paras Patel - B.E., MBA Finance
Finance Manager
Paras Patel is the Group Finance Manager and responsible for all accounting and finance related matters of the School and other Regent Group activity. Paras has an MBA in Finance and also takes an active role in all aspects of Regent’s operation.

Mr. Rajeeb Chakraborty
BSc, MSc (double), PGCE, MInstP
Head of Sixth Form & UFP
Rajeeb Chakraborty is a qualified teacher with a Masters in Physics and a Masters in Water Pollution Control. He has a unique approach to teaching Physics and has been extremely successful in motivating students. Prior to joining Regent College, Rajeeb has spent his time at Swaminarayan Independent School. Rajeeb is Head of Sixth Form at Regent College and is also responsible for the School Management Information System and co-ordination of external examinations. In addition, Rajeeb acts as a Form Tutor. |
Mr. James Donovan
Mathematics
James Donovan has extensive experience in education and is the Pastoral Manager for Compulsory School Age students (CSA) and co-ordinates Physical Education for CSA students as well as providing career advice. |

Dr. Subhasish Podder - BSc, PhD
Head of Science
Dr Subhasish Podder graduated from University of East London and completed a PhD from the University of Aston. He is the Head of Chemistry at Regent College and teaches A Level Chemistry. In addition, Dr Podder is responsible for all external practical exams and the day-to-day management of the science laboratories.

Mr. Jeff Hunter - BA, MA, PGCE
Head of Languages
Form Tutor
Jeff Hunter holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Media in Education and is qualified in PGCE Secondary Education in English. Mr Hunter is the Head of Languages at Regent College and teaches English for Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level pupils. He is also responsible for providing UCAS, Form Tutoring and Careers advice for Sixth Form students.

Art
A graduate of Agra University, with a Bachelors Degree within the subjects of Drawing & Painting, General English, Hindi and Sociology, as well as Masters in Drawing & Painting, Anita Obhrai teaches Art for A Level students.

Dr. Mohammad Aslam - PhD, ACMA
Head of Accounting
Dr Mohammed Aslam completed a Phd from American University of Hawaii, U.S.A. and is Head of Accounting at Regent College. He teaches Accounting to GCSE and A Level students, as well as providing Pastoral Support. In addition, Dr Aslam is responsible for all Accounting related teaching at the school.

Mrs. Sharon Teji - LLB, PGCE
Head of Business & Humanities
Form Tutor
Sharon Teji graduated from Thames Valley University with an LLB and achieved the Certificate of Education from the University of Greenwich. As the Head of Business and Humanities, Mrs Teji provides academic support to Sixth Form students, in addition to teaching A Level Law and acting as Form Tutor. Mrs Teji is also a part of HME Magistrate.

Mr. Vasanthakumaran Kandiah - BSc, MSc, PGCE
Head of Mathematics
Vasanthakumaran Kandiah graduated with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Computational Mathematics with Modelling, from Brunel University. At Regent College, Vasanthakumaran is the Head of the Mathematics Department and teaches GCSE and A-Level Maths. A member of Regent College for several years, Vasanthakumaran also provides Pastorial care and UCAS advice to Sixth Form students.

Mathematics
Imran Imam graduated from the University of London, Kings College, with a Degree in Physics and also holds Masters in Mathematics at Imperial College, University of London. Imran Imam is currently teaching Further Maths and Maths for A Level students and provides Pastorial care and UCAS support to students who plan to begin Higher Education.

Suthahari Sathiyaseelan graduated in Bachelors from the University of Sri Lanka and has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. As a member of the Regent College Science Department, Mrs Sathiyaseelan teaches Key Stage 3, GCSE Science and A Level Biology and has provided students with academic support and motivation.

Jeremy Evans graduated from University of Wales, with a Degree in Geography/Quaternary Geology, as well as having completed a PGCE in Geography at the Institute of Education. Mr Evans teaches A Level Geography for Sixth Form students.

Mikki Shahid, a senior member of the Languages Department at Regent College for several years, is a graduate of University of London and teaches GCSE English and IELTS. In addition, Mrs Shahid oversees all GCSE English Coursework related matters.

Biology & Science
Gary Gibson, graduated from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne with a degree in Mammalian Physiology, and has completed an MSc.
A member of the Science Department, Mr Gibson teaches Biology and Science to GCSE and A Level Students. Gary Gibson has many years of experience at working in numerous schools and institutions. In addition to several years of expertise within the field of Science, Mr Gibson has been a GCSE examiner and has a vast understanding of marking and moderating coursework. |

Mr Michael Niman - BA Hons , PGCE, MA Ed
Sociology
With 27 years of teaching A- level sociology and a record of excellence in value added results Michael Niman is a welcomed addition to the Regent academic team. He is highly skilled at motivating and enabling students to achieve their full academic promise. His vast years of experience have enabled him to build up an extensive up to date data bank of exciting and stimulating resources to ensure the delivery of his subject in a modern energized manner.

Dr Kenneth Baker MA, PhD
History
Dr Baker has a renowned background in teaching Ancient History / Classical Civilization for many years. He holds a PhD in Ancient History form the University of Manchester. His previous post in teaching History was at King’s School in Harpenden and he also has experience in teaching in a Special Needs environment.

Miss Victoria Walsh LLB, ACA , PGCE
Law & Accounting
Miss Walsh comes to Regent College with a background in Law and Accountancy. Her previous teaching post was held at The Highfield School in Letchworth Garden City where she held the position of Subject Leader in Business Studies. With a strong Computing background she infuses the latest technology with traditional teaching practices to ensure an interesting, innovative and well rounded delivery of her subject.
With vast experience in student pastoral care Miss Walsh plays a key role as a Form Tutor.

Mrs. Sharma is a highly experienced English teacher and an examiner with the exam board. With a background in English Language and Literature she has a special interest in teaching Years 8-11. Assad Shamsi
School Administrator
ICT Teacher
Having completed his GCSE and A Levels at Regent College, Assad Shamsi undertook a Degree in Information Technology at Brunel University. Mr. Shamsi is currently completing Bachelors in Business Computing at University of Westminster and is a member of the administrative team. Additionally, Assad Shamsi teaches ICT as part of the Regent Learning Club programme, in addition to managing and co-ordinating the College’s weekend activities.
