With little help from staff, the students organised the Christmas party and promoted donations for the Save the Children Fund and the food bank. Activities included ‘put the nose on James Blunt blindfolded’, music and dance, pizza and snacks followed by a movie. By taking lead on these events, it was evident that the students gained finance management, organisational and leadership skills. Also, they enjoyed participating and spreading their love for charity and Christmas.
