An NCUK preparatory (foundation) pathway is designed for international students who are looking to fast-track their level 3 studies (A-levels or I.B). You will gain quality-assured, globally recognised qualifications in as little as 7 months in your chosen modules with innovative assessment methods and a guaranteed progression place on an undergraduate course at a top UK university.
OVERVIEW
The University Access Programme (UAP) in Business is a one year, pre-university programme that provides direct entry for international students into the first year of a business-related degree course. It is a full-time, in-person programme that is delivered in partnership with NCUK. It will help you develop your subject knowledge, English language and academic study skills, while ensuring you are at a level that is suitable to successfully take on an undergraduate degree.
The UAP can be the perfect route for international students that do not meet the entry requirements for a Foundation Year.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students who would like to enrol onto the University Access Programme are expected to have successfully completed 12 years of school education to a defined level and have an English language level of at least IELTS 4.5 or equivalent.
CAREER PROSPECTS
During the course, you will be made aware of the transferable nature of skills and behaviours that they are developing throughout your studies. Teachers will highlight real-world applications for knowledge and understanding gained through the qualification wherever relevant.
Projects and investigations in many modules will be based on useful, real data and examples. Students will also be encouraged to seek relevant work experience opportunities in their local environment and to prepare their curriculum vitae.
ASSESSMENT
The UAP is assessed through 100% coursework for the Business Project and 100% written exam for other modules. English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and Formative Assessment.
