Indian Government Officials Visit Regent Independent College

On 16th January 2015, the College was honoured to played host to a delegate of government officials from India. They had been in Britain attending the two day India Skills and Education Innovation Conference in London and were invited to visit the College by College director, Mr Selva Pankaj, who was also in attendance at this event.

The delegates came to the College mid-afternoon, met with Head Teacher, Mr Steve Hurl, and other key staff and were provided with a tour of the College and refreshments before the presentation began. Mr Pankaj gave the delegates an insight into life at Regent Independent College, telling them of our fifteen year history and reciting memories of special events and success stories that we had had since the College was founded in 2000.

The delegates in turn talked of the education system in India and its differences to that of the UK and initiated a discussion on the subject of the forging of links between the education sectors in the two countries.
