GCSE Retake Courses
Our one-year GCSE Retake courses are suitable for students who wish to retake or resit their GCSEs to improve on their previous grades.
Since the introduction of the new GCSE specifications and the challenges, GCSE retake courses offer students a second change to improve and achieve better and higher grades. And, with the need to include GCSE results on UCAS applications universities place more emphasis on a good set of GCSE exam results when students complete their UCAS university applications.
At RIC, we offer a number of resit options to students but many simply wish to retake one or two subjects, particularly Maths and English Language.
Retake students can also opt to take a full-time one-year program focusing on up to three to four retake subjects sitting the examinations in the summer session. This academically focused course aims to improve on exam technique and offer structured expert tuition in small groups. Students would normally be able to choose Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English Language and Physics.
