We are pleased to offer two NCUK Foundation Year pathways to prepare international students for first year entry to undergraduate degree courses. By studying in small classes in a higher education environment with us, you will gain the confidence to succeed at your chosen university. 

Both pathways are split between two semesters offering you the opportunity to study a range of subject specific modules in small, supportive classes. Our dedicated, expert tutors are here to help you succeed and prepare you for university study.

NCUK Pathways

This qualification has been designed with NCUK university partners to prepare international students for first year entry to undergraduate degree courses. Studying in small classes with Regent College before they start their degree will give students the confidence they need before they start their degree course. Studying the NCUK International Foundation Year Humanities or Business, that is equivalent to A Levels and IB in 9 months, instead of 2 years, will prepare students for study at undergraduate level in English-language universities.

Studying this qualification will also enhance English language abilities, enabling students to communicate and study effectively and confidently at undergraduate level. Taught by expert faculty and mentors in the industry, students will gain transferable skills and will also develop into independent, autonomous learners.

NCUK also has a dedicated Student Counselling Support team, who will help students with everything they need, such as guiding them with degree course selections and applications.

NCUK INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION YEAR (IFY) – HUMANITIES

Assessed Academic:

• Business Studies, Global Studies and Economics modules End of Semester 1 Test (10%)
• Coursework (20%)
• Final Examination (70%)
• Semester 2 (70% weighting)
• EAP (50% coursework, 50% exams)
• Formative Assessment (FAS)
• Non-assessed – ED.TIC self-development programme/SCOPE/EAP/Current Affairs Forum (CAF)

• Coursework (20%)
