Pre-A Level Programme

Our Pre-A level course is designed as an introduction to UK education system for international students who are between 16 to 18 years old. The course follows a similar approach to GCSE, but with a duration of one year or less. Students can experience a wide range of subjects which prepare them to progress to study an A level or a Foundation programme.

Pre A Level

The Pre-A level develops students’ English language skills, whilst providing the academic foundations required to progress on to our A level course. Alongside a focused English for Academic Purposes (EAP) curriculum, students choose one or two academic subjects to complement their course. All subjects are taught in English.

Students are supported by our EAP tutors, subject teachers, and Director of Studies. At the end of the course, students sit an EAP exam and internal assessments for the academic subjects.
